What Florida jobs actually look like
Florida runs smaller than most states. Nearly a third of the priced work is under an acre, the platted lot and homesite clearing that comes with a state built on subdivisions. Here is how the priced Florida projects break down.
Work has come in from all 67 counties in Florida
Three clusters carry the volume. The southwest Gulf coast through Lee, Charlotte, Collier and Sarasota, the north central belt around Putnam, Marion and Suwannee, and the Panhandle in Jackson and Bay. Orange County adds steady lot work out of the Orlando build. Every county in the state has posted something.

Two ways to pick up Florida work
Buy the lead
Florida leads have run from $10 for a fractional lot in Escambia County to $400 for a 1,000 acre tract in Marion County. The county, the acreage and the price are on the listing before you buy. No contract and no retainer.
Bid the sub work
We close the job and contract with the property owner, so the location, the machine hours and the pay are set before you see it. You run the machine, usually an eight hour day, document the work and get paid the next day.
How buying a Florida lead works
Sign up once and you go on the notification list for Florida jobs. When a property owner in your area posts work, you see the listing with the county, the acreage and the price. Buy the ones that fit your machines and your drive radius, and contact the customer directly.
There is no monthly fee for being on the list. You pay per lead, and only for the leads you choose. If you want to work out what to quote before you call, the bid calculator and our guide to land clearing rates per acre will get you to a number that holds its margin.
Prefer not to sell at all? The subcontract side hands you jobs already closed. Full pricing for both is on the pricing page.

Or have us run your Florida marketing
Buying a lead puts a job on the calendar this week. Running your own marketing means the calls come to you instead of you quoting against other crews. This is the larger side of what we do.
Facebook ads
$750 a month plus ad spend
Built for land clearing and forestry mulching, not generic home services. The ads are written and targeted by contractors who run the machines.
Website rental
$1,000 a month
A site with up to 15 city landing pages for the towns you actually work. Rent it monthly, buy it outright for $4,000, or get it free with six months of SEO at $1,000 a month.
Run by a contractor, not an agency
Land Clearing Leads is run by Taylor Pierce, who owns Pierce Land Clearing and Forestry Mulching Pros. He has run the machines and priced the work, and the leads were built to keep his own crews busy first, back in 2021. That is why the listings carry the detail an operator actually needs instead of a name and a phone number.
Questions Florida contractors ask
Which Florida counties do you cover?
All 67. Every county in Florida has posted work, heaviest in Putnam, Lee, Marion, Charlotte, Orange and Collier. The southwest Gulf coast and the north central belt are the busiest, and the Panhandle holds its own. Signing up costs nothing while you wait for something in your radius.
What does a Florida land clearing lead cost?
Leads are priced by the size of the job. Florida leads have run from $10 for a fractional lot up to $400 for a 1,000 acre tract, and the median is $21. Whatever the price is, you see it on the listing before you buy.
Are the Florida leads exclusive?
It depends which one you buy. Leads on the pay per lead marketplace are capped at three sales and then pulled from the site, so at most you are quoting against two other crews. Leads generated for you on the exclusive service go to you and nobody else.
How much Florida work comes through?
1,540 Florida lead projects have been posted since 2022, and 343 of those landed in 2026. That is alongside the subcontract jobs, which are listed separately.
Do I have to sign a contract?
Not for leads. They are bought one at a time with no retainer and no minimum. The only thing you sign is the subcontractor agreement, and only once you have been awarded a sub job.
Do you run marketing for Florida contractors?
Yes, and it is the bigger side of the business. Facebook ads are $750 a month plus ad spend. A website with up to 15 city landing pages rents for $1,000 a month or sells outright for $4,000, and comes free with six months of SEO at $1,000 a month.
We cover eight states
Same listings, same pricing, same subcontract network. If you run machines across a state line these are worth watching too.
